I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Informatics and Telematics of the Harokopio University of Athens and an Affiliated Researcher at Information Systems Laboratory of FORTH-ICS. Before joining HUA, I was a postdoctoral researcher at FORTH-ICS, leading a project on responsible entity resolution, and a postdoctoral researcher at IBM Research in Almaden Research Center, CA, USA, working on data management and AI, for providing natural language interfaces to data (monograph). I received my PhD from the Computer Science Department of University of Crete for research on entity resolution in the Web of Data (book, survey, dissertation). After my research internship at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center, NY, USA, on matching Web tables to Knowledge Graphs, I am co-organizing the SemTab challenge at ISWC and the TaDA workshop at VLDB.
